Default Climate control screen not lit

Hello everyone, I am looking for some advice on the climate control screen that is supposed to show temp as well as source of air (i.e. feet, feet and chest, feet and defrost, and so on...). It is not lit up but everything seems to be working fine. Changing the temp, fan, and hitting the mode button does change the source of the heat. I figure I'd check here first. A fuse possibly?

Thanks,
Tad

Both of these are common problems in the C5.
The dim dark display is cracked solder joints in the display and easily repaired rather than replaced. Here is one of the numerous posts on the problem.

When air comes out all vents it is a vacuum supply issue. Cheap to fix but takes a little work to find the leak. Numerous post on this also.

100%

Resolder the resistors and find that vacuum leak for the HVAC System vacuum supply!

Those Nylon lines crack easiy and HATE battery acid.

Just did re soldier the resistors on my unit while changing out the radio last month. One moved when I got to it with the gun. Success on everything lit up now. Oh, yes, radio change out was a success also. Plus getting rid to the sirius unit in there when bought the car.
