Default Column lock on 02's?
Has anyone had this happen on an 02? From everything I've read it looks like GM has solved this problem.

As a matter of fact, several forum members with 02's have reported column locks. I put the C5 Solutions bypass on a couple of months ago when I read about the rash of column locks on 02's. They no longer make it but Corvettes of Houston sells one for about $100.

So far so good for my '02 with 12,500k miles....We'll see though, i'm not getting excited.

If you have a six speed, you could be INTRUBL! Get the bypass or see if your dealer will do the "fix" for you. Good luck. :yesnod: :)
