Generally speaking, it is back half of the exhaust systems that
cause drone. (axle back)

Headers will make it worse if you already have drone, but will not cause
it on their own

Do these Dynatech headers come with the A.I.R. ports? I get conflicting reports. Your picture shows without and some show with. There doesn't seem to be different part numbers.
As well what is the difference between the 01-03 and the 04 models?
thanks
Paul

Paul,

These headers come with O2 bungs

The difference in years is Air Tubes (emissions) It is different for different years
earlier years don't have air tubes

Make sure you order the correct year for your car

Ok thanks Chip.
Mine is an O3Z, I have already removed my air injection system. Is the only solution for a clean install with these is to cut the tube and flange off and weld up the holes? I want to stay with Supermaxx as I put these on my 04 Z16 about 10 years ago and I remember how easy and clean the install was.

Sorry, to be clear I am talking about the air injection flanges on the top of the header, not the O2 bungs. If the earlier years did not have these injection flanges on them, would they still fit in the 03 without issue?
thanks again

It's more than just the air tubes, it's the dipstick support and a few other minor things.

Most people who have removed air get the correct year and just run a block off plate.
way simpler than removing the tube and welding up, but if you want a super clean install,
that is the way to go
