On my 2000 Corvette FRC ive been having issues where the headlights dont pop up unless i open the hood and manually turn the ***** on the headlight motor a little, turn the lights off and back on then they will come up. I do not hear any grinding or anything like that.
check your stops...you see one there in the picture (yellow thing) there are several others, if they are missing or worn the light travels down too far and then has a hard time popping up. If the stop is worn you can try flipping it over, if it is missing you need to source some new ones
So i tried this. i turned all of them over and still having the same issue. It is usually the passenger side headlight that i have been having more issues with. I do have HIDs on the car and instead of the resistor i installed the relay kit.
I started having issues with the right headlight after installing the supercharger and i wouldn't think that would have any effect on it at all but i thought i would let you all know this info.
i did flip them all over but i am going to order a new set of 8 and see if that will help. tired of my lights not working. its making me want to drive the cadi a lot more then the vette and thats not good lol
