Rear O2 question

Rear O2 question
I pulled exhaust to day for some work and I noticed the O2 sensors at clipped to the heat shield. Now at the pipe the sensors are crossed. The connector by the left manifold went down to the right pipe and the connector by right manifold went down to the left.
Is this normal or did it get screwed up when last owner had a clutch put in?

That is correct. Only logical thing I came up with was GM installed them at an angle to fit them in the tunnel so rather than re-cross the wires for the O2 sensors they simply installed the connections up front on opposite sides.
