Will the clutch ever slip?

About 2 years (and 15K miles) ago, I thought my clutch was nearing end of life. It engaged near the very top of pedal travel, and had a 'suddenness' when it does engage. The clutch had 60K miles on it, mostly street driving, but a few track days in there. So I thought it would soon start slipping, and that would be the time to replace the clutch.
Well, it has never slipped! I am all stock. I recently removed and cleaned (ultrasonic) the fuel injectors. That brought a noticeable pep back to the car. Still, I romp on it as hard as I can, and it pulls hard, but the clutch won't slip!
Anything wrong with waiting for it to slip to replace it?

my 07Z06 just had its first replacement at 95K and it released high for over 2 years....that being said the pilot bearing was TOAST and the throw out bearing wasn't far behind....never slipped or made noise.
