Default Vert roof

Minor question: Do any of you notice your C5 vert roof splitting at the seams?
I adjusted my '98 roof with help from a forum article this summer so that the windows' corners no longer hit the roof edge when closing the doors. The latches still close easily.
But could that tension adjustment be harming the roof? I only have 30K miles on it.

Thanks. Happy new year y'all!

Jim I also have a 98 vert, remember the car is 20 years old. If its in the sun a lot its going to be subject to damage. I keep mine garaged and use rags top cleaner and treatment every couple of years so my original top is in good shape. hope this helps.... Happy New year

Default Ragg Top

I have a 2000 'vert with 34 K miles.

I also have been using the Ragg Top protectant from Geek Squad about every other year.

It has always been parked in the garage since new.

No issues with the top and it looks good for 17 years.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the replies.

Mine was virtually unused and garage kept until I bought it in the spring.
It never had Ragg Top applied, but I put it on this summer.
I'm surprised by new marks in the fabric and the separating seams. Just wanted to be sure I'm not accidentally stretching it from the adjustment.
Lord knows, I have plenty of wrinkles myself!
Thanks; happy new year!
