Vibration in clutch when hot
My my wife and I drove up north (~100 miles one way) today. All highway driving at around 80 (short bursts to 90 or 100). This is the longest continuous driving I’ve had the car on since I purchased it back in October. Once I got off the highway, I noticed vibration through the clutch pedal (vibration coming through the master cylinder). It’s most prominent when I rest my foot on the pedal (take up the free play) but it is also there when the clutch is disengaged. After a few minutes of stop and go (in town driving), the vibration subsided (sustained load climbing mountain highways heated up the car... slow speed town driving cooled it off). I’ve experienced something similar when I get out and beat on it (get everything really hot and it vibrates, slow down/stop beating on it and the vibration goes away after it cools a bit). This leads me to believe it’s temperature releated.
Any ideas?
