With all the issues with a C5 when it comes to battery leaking on the computer. Does anyone sell a battery box to put battery in to advoid this problem? What brand or type of battery is good for a C5?
AGM batteries are a better option than lead acid. Don't know of a battery box that will fit in the stock location.
If you're super worried, relocate the battery to the right rear pocket (sealed, vented battery box needed).

I have been using Odyssey AGM batteries in all of my vehicles for the past 15 years. Never had one leak and they don't corrode the terminals from venting. I usually replace OEM batteries in new cars with an Odyssey within a few weeks. They are a bit pricey, but money well spent. The current one in my vette is 8 years old now and looks & works like new.
There are a number of good batteries out there for the C5. GM did have an issue with leaky batteries on some C5's.
Look at the AC Delco "Professional Grade" batteries, or Interstate Mega-tron as good ones to use. You can get absorbent mats that fit in the battery tray which will help keep any leaks from dripping onto the ECM. I have an Interstate battery in my '02 that is going on 6 years old and no sign of any leaks anywhere.
