2nd possibility bad socket

Activate the turn signals on one side and check the front lamp and the back two lamps. Then do the other side. Replace any that are not working.

By any chance has somebody replaced the bulbs with LED's? That can cause a condition known as "Hyperflash". The fix for that is the installation of a wiring harness that has resistors in line to slow down the flash rate.
