56° today. Started up my 98 vert for a drive but it won't budge out of park. It's an automatic transmission. I turned the wheel and restarted it several times. Nothing. I just drove it to days ago.
No security light showing. Only has 30k miles.
I don't think mine requires the column lock bypass.
Any ideas?
Thanks very much!

Reason: Addition
Try a ton of things before you throw in the flag (dealership). Things to try:
Start it up ...use the brake....try rocking it....click and fully depress the shifter release button on the shifter several times.
Is the car parked on a hill? If so have some one rock it to relieve pressure on the park pin.
If parked on a level surface, then most probably, as mentioned above, is the shift lock solenoid in the shifter. If this is the case, you can replace it or just disconnect it.
