98 c5 convertable water leaking

Hello All,

Was out driving last night.. It started pouring rain... Well my left foot got drops of water as I was wearing flip flops... I could feel drops of water hitting my left foot.. WTH.. Where's the water coming from???

that could be part of the problem. in that same little compartment where the udders are there is a grommet all the way in the back where the hood latch cable passes through the firewall. that grommet is probably pushed in. might have to take out the wiper motor to even see it. what i did was seal the grommet with a silicone sealant and the coated over the whole thing with a rubber under coating. no more leaks!!
