EVAP Removal/Vented Gas Cap?
I'm removing the EVAP system from my car. Just trying to clean up some clutter, remove failure points and just simplify the car as this car will eventually see quite a bit of track time and I do not want to be fighting with useless items if I am working on the car at the track.
To do this, I am trying to do it as correctly as possible and am in search of a vented fuel cap.
Has anyone done this and has anyone come across a vented fuel cap that fits our cars?

are you removing everything or just the evap solenoid in the engine bay?... if just the solenoid you will be fine with the stock gas cap, I have had mine removed for a few years with no issues

Vented caps haven't been used since the 60s, so finding one to fit your car will be hard. You should just put a filter or breather hose on the evap port on the tank. That's what I did on my '76 when I deleted the evap system . I just added a hose that runs down over the tank and points at the ground. There is a check valve so you don't have to worry about liquid fuel leaking out.
