one of my wheels, LR is showing XXX as tire pressure. Took my baby to a shop to have that TPM changed but they insisted that the RR monitor was at fault. Changed the monitor but still no results. These guys seemed to know what they were doing.
Ive tried to reset monitors using the correct procedure and correct magnet. Three tires reset but not LR.
Ive had great results with input from these forums. Hoping someone can help with this issue.
Had the same issue on my 99. I don't know what year car you have? I got into tire learn on the DIC and everyone except the left rear made the horn chirp. After 3 tries, I gave up and with magnet in hand, I sat in the driver seat. 10 seconds later the horn chirped and the left rear programmed. I suggest you apply the magnet again and leave it there for 10 seconds then walk away from the tire about ten feet. My thought is the built in battery is weak in that tire? These tire pressure sensors are not monitors, they're sensors. I've been told that because they're old (1999) that cold weather can give false readings and wait till warmer weather.
