Default Humming noise

Has anyone experienced an electrical type humming. I can't actually tell where it's coming from, but the noise temporarily goes away once a load is applied. For example, if I hit the power window switch the noise will go away. Once released the noise comes back. It also may be intermittent. Any threads on this?

Also only happens while the car is running. Doesn't matter if idle or driving. Sound is constant doesn't change with rpm. All stock and noise doesn't go away if radio is on or off.

I'll take a stab in the dark and say it is your fuel pump. It is located behind the dirver's seat and can be heard from outside the car as well. If it is the fuel pump, it may sound louder after driving it awhile. It may also change pitch if you turn on the turn signal. If it is indeed your fuel pump making the noise, it isn't a problem unless you notice a performance issue.

That is what I thought but the humming doesn't change pitch, it's eliminated. It does seem to get louder after a long drive.
