I just watched a video that Froggy did on replacing the balancer on his Z06. I don't think I want to tackle that job. So, I will likely pay someone to replace the balancer. It looks like an expensive job.
Some wobble is normal on C5. Mine has wobble too. I'm just going to keep an eye on it for now. It shows no signs of failing. There's more posts here you can search on this. I talked to a guy on FB his vette has a wobble he never changed the balancer it fine to this day. Just because it has a wobble(depends on how bad the wobble is) doesn't mean it is bad or will fail. Of course always good to replace as preventive maintenance because when it does back out it will cause some damage. It's up to individual to decide whether to replace it for peace of mind.
To replace the harmonic balancer you have to remove the steering rack assy and drop the engine cradle.

It does not appear to be a lot of wooble. That is relative, I don't thing its a lot of wooble. But, this is my first Vette. So, I don't have a reference gauge.

I'm curious to see the wobble, can you post video? That way I can compare to mine.

you don't have to remove the rack either, it just needs to be moved over to the passenger side and you can maneuver the outer tie rod up and out of the way of the balancer

I noticed a slight wobble on mine last week. Mine is probably less then the video just posted. I'll be keeping an eye on it though. I ended up modifying a socket with a wrench to at least make sure the balancer bolt is tight and it was, so that was reassuring.
I took a short video of my Harmonic balancer wobble. Here it is:
How does this differ from yours? And, is this an issue for my car?

At 58.9k ,miles, my 2003 HB & tensioner wobble was quite a bit worse than yours. It didn't cause a sqeaky belt nor did the belt skip off the HB or the tensioner; however, every time I started the car I was compelled to open the hood & check it out, until it basically drove me crazy.
Total job was a little under $1K. I opted for a Power Bond HB, aftermarket tensioner, and ARP bolt. Well worth it to me.
Could I have waited longer? Maybe. But piece of mind when you're far from home is priceless.
