Drivers window falls to go up. Straightened out pins enough for the plug to go back together properly All functions working still except drivers window. Hearing a faint click inside door. Is there a relay buried inside the door, or should I just presume the motor has gone out?
Also, to bypass switch and activate motor with jumper wires, is there a connector right on the motor to use?
I'm no expert but maybe the door control module is bad...seems to me you could figure out the + and - on the motor to operate it by itself....probably schematics online...I have a window motor and regulator laying around that I have for sale..I can take a look and see if there is a simple way to apply power

Cannot help on the door electrical evaluation, but I had a similar issue with my drivers door last year. My fix was to do the Whack method. Been good for me without tearing into the door electrical stuff. Since you have plastic on the window, give it a try if only to get it to go up until you decide what to do next.
Not positive yet, but know it isn't the switch. Swapped with a buddy, and it worked just fine in his I did manage to get the window up, but with more storms again last night, once it was up, I didn't keep working on it, so not fixed yet. I'm looking at either the bottom plug into the module or the module itself as the culprit now
