Fog light hookup
My C5 fog lights are not working and there is a connector on the passenger side that is just laying there. Both right and left connectors are hooked to the lights. Where does that lose connector hook?

Are your turn signals working? A single connector in the bumper area is most likely for the turn signal harness. It could also be for the hood light.
As I recall, the fog light harness goes straight to the fusebox. I would check your fuse and relay.

It's been a long time since I installed fogs in my Z06. If I remember correctly there is a purple wire that comes out of the fuse block that taps into the #39 fuse. It is easy to lift the fuse block to check this out. I'd first disconnect the battery before poking around. The purple wire is what should power the foglights. Unless someone used the loose wire to go to ground. I guess you should check that first.
