Default Clutch Noise

Ok, this is going to sound like a really stupid question. But I'm having some trouble diagnosing this. I have a 97 corvette. I am hearing a grinding/sanding noise from the shifter. However, I only hear this when in any gear but 4th or when I have the clutch fully depressed. Why? Obviously its something spinning against something else. When I replaced my trans I rebuilt my torque tube. Could it be the input shaft bearing I replaced was replaced incorrectly? Could it be the slave cylinder is rubbing on the clutch spring causing this sound? If you are stopped, in neutral, flutch fully out you can hear it. As soon as you depress the clutch, it slowly goes away like whatever was spinning is coming to a hault. I need ideas guys. I replaced the pilot bearing, couplers, and the input shaft bearing. But I'm about to rip it all out again because its driving me nuts. I'll get a video & upload it to youtube & share it here for the best quality. Thanks!

I don't think so. But who knows. It made the sound before I did the trans, and I replaced the throwout bearing too when I did the clutch. Factory GM. So the sound was there, replaced throwout bearing, sound still there. So I don't think that's it.
