Default Aftermarket fuel rails

I'm looking to change a few thing in my engine bay...valve covers, coil relocation. I'm leaving my stock ls6 intake..which fuel rail kit and valve cover kit would be the best? I also think I need a adjustable reg also? Thanks!

Curious to hear responses. I was thinking about doing the same to dress up the bay. The proform valve cover and coil relocator kit with the wires looks interesting. I've read mixed reviews on those covers...mostly good but some bad.

What bad did you hear about them? I'm running them and would like to know what I need to watch out for? Only complaint so far is the oil cap. Doesn't seem as snug this year. Waiting to hear back from Proform on a solution.

there are many choices for fuel rails, fast, holley, aeromotive, etc., but personally I think fore has the best design... I have fast rails on mine but after coming across the fore rails I bought a set of them and they will be going on later on this year when I change injectors... the thing about the other rails is that they use mounting blocks that bolt to the intake and then the rails bolt to those blocks and I have seen instances where high fuel pressure can cause them to wiggle loose and potentially cause a fuel leak... fore's rails are one piece so they are unable to move around like the other brands... they also have options for different injector lengths so you can use ls3/7 style injectors if you wanted to... along with the rails you will need necessary fittings and line, factor in maybe another $200 for that stuff... what year is your car?... if it's an 04 like your name suggests you won't need a fuel pressure regulator... that is located in your tank and you won't be messing with it so you only need to decide how you want to plumb the lines for your rails and you can get a conversion fitting that goes from -an and will snap onto the stock fuel line at the firewall just like the factory stainless line connects, easy... I chose gmpp tall valve covers for my setup for a few reasons, the main one being that they have oil baffles already installed in them... some aftermarket covers don't have baffles and if you have any vacuum or breather lines connected to the covers they are more susceptible to ingesting oil... you can always have baffles installed but that is more $$

A few posts about the seal around the cap and another leaking where it seals to the head. The post about the general leak is several years old.

Thanks, I'm dealing with the cap myself. No other leaks, but I'll keep an eye out. I also just replied to one of the older threads about the oil cap. Never saw these posts when I was buying as I see most are in the forced induction section.

Is that them in your avitar? Looks great. Nice job hiding the coils. Looks old school.

Yes, but that was before I installed the coils. This is the final look.

Looks great. Nice touch painting the fuel rails and the coils. Is that the proform coil relocation kit also? What's the fuel rail set up?

Light sanding where I could to scuff them up, clean, primer, paint, clear. Masked off where the plug wire goes of course.

Yes, proform relo kit. Fuel rails are Holley LS series kit, and some additional fittings to connect to factory line.
