Default This is so weird

Maybe someone here can give me some direction. This is so weird.

2004 C5 corvette 65,000 miles

Had the oil changed. The Change oil message was reset. Come out the next day.

MEssage center says change oil.

I personally reset the oil life remaining to 100% again.

Went to the store, came out.

Message center says change oil soon again

This time I reset with pressing the gas pedal with the car off, key in on position.

Drove back home.

Just got in the car, message center says change oil soon again.

Reset to 100% again by following the reset procedure per manual.

Turn the car off went inside for maybe 5 minutes, came back out. That damn message pops up "CHANGE OIL SOON"

I have personally reset this change oil message several times, each time I turn the car off and back on, the message center tells me to change oil soon or change oil now sometimes, that's the first issue.

The next issue is getting the car ready for inspection.

So I went to get the car inspected and it came back "not ready" no parameters are showing ready to inspect. Drove the car 100 miles exactly, took it back to get inspected, same thing. showing not ready. Pulled up the gm drive cycle. The first thing it says is it needs a cold start at 50 degrees celsius believe. I live in arizona, how in the world can I change the outside temp.

Any helpful direction would be much appreciated.

I am mechanically inclined, ive built several pretty fast cars, owned a repair shop and body shop. I can fix anything mechanical, diagnosis, etc.

Electrical issues like this are a little beyond what I normally deal with, especially annoying stuff like this.

as far as the oil minder rest goes this in the procedure
turn the key on WAIT 4 seconds
Press on the throttle to wide open 3 times---don't go crazy !! to it normally---make sure each time you let OFF the throttle completely--So remove your right foot way off the gas pedal
Then wait 2-4 seconds and shut the key OFF --
On my 98 C5 I had the same issues as you--sometimes on a car that is 15 years old plus the oil reset will never work right-----You can however with some handheld tuners or with HP or EFILIVE simply manually reset the oil minder

NOW when it comes to the readiness monitors and passing smog----
Again on a car that is 15 + years old the monitors may never ever reset again simply from age
Why it is a problem now in 2018 and never before is that about 5 years ago your car would still pass smog with 3 of the 8 readiness monitors that were not set
Then the DMV lowered it to only 2 then 1 and NOW it is "0" meaning that ALL the 8 or so monitors must set to READY----You can drive your 5000 miles and still the monitors will not EVER set---Simply from age and the now "0" tolerance DMV rules
Pretty much there IS a fix !!!!! and it would require a full tune with HP or EFILIVE ONLY These tuning software programs can set ALL your monitors to read "ready" forever !!!! done deal --even a mail order tuner can do this--

I'm telling you don't waste your time ans $$$ trying to sort this out on your own Get a mail order tune from someone here on the forum --call them and send them $150 and you will be able to sleep a night LOL

50C is 122F - not terribly cold, though it might well be achieved in AZ...

same thing after resetting, after is says remaining oil life 100%. Turn the car off and back on and it pops back up to change oil. It acts like its not holding th memory.
