Finally got the coilovers on but have run into a few snags. Wanted to run somethings by you guys before I make adjustments. It seems the springs hit body parts on both front and back. The front has the spring hitting the shock boxes at the top where it gets bolted down with the single nut on top. With the car off the ground, the coil binds agaisnt the frame of the car which may not be good when the car launches hard. The rear has the coil hitting the upper control arm at full droop. Which won’t be an issue when the car is on the ground I’m hoping but wanted to run that by you as well. Have you had issues on the c5 corvettes?
FWIW. I just installed the warrior valved double adjustable coilovers on the front of my C5 today. When in the air the springs did rub the insides of the upper A arm. I turned the spring and it is now about an eyelash away from rubbing the inner A arm. I’m not using a sway bar so there’s no rubbing there. I did look to see how close it is on the ground but I did test drive it and everything felt good.
