Default Rocker Arm guide plates/pedestals

I've seen the terms Rocker Arm guide plates and pedestals both used in referencing the LS1/LS6 heads. Do these heads have both or is this two terms for the same thing? Thanks

Some aftermarket stud mounted rockers still use them, such as Crane.
