Default Opinions necessary

Forgive me if this is a repeat question. Im not having much luck searching. I rescently purchased a 01 automatic with 50k. I have it at the shop now getting headers, high flow cats, xpipe, Ti axle back, vararam cai, cam, and tune. Im not posative what size cam. I was told it is the most aggressive I can do without torque converter or drivability issues. So my question is whats next in the way of more hp/tq? Is Fi next? If I do go with Fi, will I be able to purchase kit, install, and tune, Or will I need to upgrade many more parts? I think ill be happy with 500-600 rwhp. Thanks for any input.

Trans is next. You'll need to beef up the trans at some point to handle the power. You will also want a torque converter with a higher stall and possibly lower gears in the back. 3.42 gears seem to be the best option for an auto. Be sure to install a new harmonic balancer while the cam is being installed. Balancer failures are very common and they are easy to replace when the cam is changed.

If you really want more power do a blower keep the boost mid/low so your not having to upgrade anything else down the line. if you get a cam then you may have to do gears and converter which cost more money. Nice A&A or ECS kit and forget about it call whomever you are closer to since you don't have your location in your profile.
