Got the pully/tensioner and a new belt installed and from a quick drive I think the noise is gone.

I think some other pullys might be going, I’ll get to those when it actually gets warm outside.

My old belt was so stretched also that there was barely any room for the tensioner to pull anymore, I was surprised how tight the new belt was based on the position on the new tensioner

I lied it’s still there. Seems a little quieter so maybe it’s ankther one of the pullys.

I would take 1 belt off at a time to see when the noise stops. It could be any of these pulley's

Problem is that at idle or low speeds it’s really quiet. It is much more noticeable at high speed.

You really did need a new tensioner pulley. You may need a new idler pulley, A/C pulley and belt or the bearings in the alternator may be shot. Keep looking.

The mkre I read the more I think it might be the alternator. Bc the pulls should whine all the time I would think. But the alternator might be more prone to make noise when the accelerator is pushed.

Is it the main drive idler pulley?

And by by looking at pics on rockauto I think advanced gave me the ac idler pulley so I have that now. And ordered the other pulleys not the alternator though.

And I’m guessing the ac belts and pulleys are more of a bitch
