Default X-pipe compatibility

I’m thinking about getting an X-pipe. I have Corsa Sport axle back and stock everything else.
Is there a ‘best’ X-pipe? Are they all basically the same? Can I use one from a different manufacturer?
(Please don’t suggest headers or cat changes.. not interested)
Thanks folks

I bought a brand new Corsa X pipe and used it with my Borla Atak, much nicer sound to me, eliminated the gurgle sound on my stock 99 vert.
I read up about these before I made my purchase, they all are doing the same thing.

Installed in a half an hour

Just checking options. Figure I’d check the used/leftover/“gee I don’t want this one” market!

Hitching on to this, anyone know any Longtubes that will bolt onto a Corsa X-pipe? Asking because my car came with the Corsa and looking at longtubes now, most want you to buy their xpipe too.

Food for thought for those interested in the Corsa. Sounds great though, just need my power fix.

If you install headers, you would need a new X pipe or you will have to weld on extensions to make the existing one to fit .

I just talked to my mechanic. I’m going to stick with the Corsa.

You could always try the Corsa headers... It looks like they just come with extensions off of the collectors that might mate right up to your x-pipe. I have no idea for sure, you'd be a pioneer.

I thought you were a crazy person because I knew I looked for Corsa headers 6 months back. Turns out they came out in Feb. of this year. Guess I would be a pioneer....

x pipe isnt worth giving a lot of thought to really.
There are some cheapies that almost cut the dia of the pipe in half avoid those.dont expect any power increase
