After using my windshield wipers yesterday, they will not go back down to the off or resting position. They are about 3 inches above the rest brackets, even in the off position. They are sitting where they would be between wipes while on the intermittent setting, low but not all the way down.
The wipers are working fine otherwise; intermittent, slow and fast are all working fine. It's just when in the off position, the wipers stay up and do not go down to the resting position.
I've done the SEARCH button, but cannot find anything exactly like I'm experiencing. I've tried turning off the car and restarting, no help. I've played with the wiper **** endlessly and can't figure it out.
Anyone know a quick solution, or do I need to bring it in to the stealership??
Mine does the same thing. I don't use my wipers very often, but when I turn them off, the passenger side doesn't go down quite all the way. But eventually, anywhere from a day to a week later, it goes down all the way on its own.
I think it's a faulty wiper control pulse board. I haven't gotten around to ordering it since I only use my wipers a handful of times a year.
