Default Catless Mid Section

Do they make an aftermarket mid section without cats that will bolt up to factory headers. Looking for something I can switch out as a direct factory replacement. I know I can go with a full exhaust with long tube headers. I was looking for something to just replace the factory mid section/H Pipe and replace with a catless one.

not that I know of... you could get an old h-pipe for cheap, cut the cats out, and have some new pipe welded in to take place of where the cats used to be... it will be a bit louder but you will get a cel for the rear o2 sensors, probably not worth the effort in my opinion

I thought the same thing as I have an extra one. Would I still get a cel with all the o2 sensors in place.

yes... the rear o2 sensors only job is to make sure the cats are working, with no cats in place it will get the same reading as the front sensors which will cause the cel... thinking about it you could also get some spark plug foulers for about $10 and get rid of the light, I didn't even think about that... basically they screw in place of the rear sensors and they move the sensor out of the direct exhaust path and they also restrict how much exhaust gas can get to the sensor so it ends up reading different than the fronts and keeps the cel off... so that problem will be solved, but whether or not it's worth the effort for a small sound change is your call
