Default Ordered my RPM Tranny, what else?

Hey guys, looking for some guidance here. After 6 months of every day being leg day (Reverse went out in my DD 02 z06, lots of pushing ) and putting off getting things fixed, I finally got the funds to order my level V tranny from RPM. I'm looking for some guidance as to what to do while the car is apart. My philosophy is do it once, do it right, don't cheap out if it can be avoided. The quick and dirty:

02 z06, 110k miles, daily driver, not beaten on more than an occasional spirited backroad.
Only aftermarket parts are c6 z shocks, cone intake filter, upgraded valve springs, ATI damper, MGW short shifter, and grounding kit.

Currently I have the following ordered and en route:
-Level V RPM tranny
-Fidanza flywheel
-Ls7 OEM clutch
-OEM Clutch Slave
-Torque Tube Rebuild (OEM bearings and rubber via RPM)
-Tick Master (After debating over OEM vs Tick and getting mixed reviews strongly for both sides, I figured I would give it a try and go OEM if I don't like the feel)
-Remote bleeder (I've heard of the air trapping issue with time, but at this point I'm pretty conditioned to changing the clutch fluid once a month so no issue there)
-Racetronix OEM fuel pump and harness (Stock one has been whining)

However much I would love to go nuts with more toys, my primary goal is getting this thing as reliable and smooth and possible at this stage. I'm finishing up medical school now and trying to be as efficient with my funding as possible. I have tried to do as much research as possible to cover all my bases, but want to make sure I don't miss something small that otherwise would be a bear to get to with everything in place.
Thanks guys, any and all help is appreciated.

How much HP/TQ do you have at the wheels??

I have 450 and I did the following to help the differential survive and to reduce wheel hop drive train shake:

PFAT Style differential mount,

DIFFERENTIAL ENHANCEMENTS: C6 ZO6 differential internal parts up-grade: C6ZO6 diff output shafts, limited slip clutches, beleville clutch springs, up graded spider cross shaft.

I have not had the car tuned or dynoed at this stage, but I would imagine it's nothing impressive for a relatively stock car. I do not plan to ever be in excess of 650 horse, and even that will have to wait until after fellowship (5 years). At this stage, for all intents and purposes, it has what it came with.

I've been toying with the idea of a mild diff rebuild while it's out as well, rpm and rkt being the two I've seen. The c6 guts seem to be the way to go, but I need to check with the shop doing the work here to see if they're experienced with swapping them themselves or if I'll need to send it out. Part of me says just do it and everything from the clutch back is bulletproof for my purposes, part of me says it may be overkill.

LOL!! Wheel Hop is a diff/trans killer. My 98 Coupe was BAD!! Im amazed it didn't explode during the time I had it. The ZO6 experiences it once in a while.. The Mod is just insurance more or less.

The C6 ZO6 Mod will provide you some insurance against catastrophic diff failure. NOTE!! When the differential explodes, it usually takes out the trans output shaft...

IF,,,,,,,,,,,, you can afford it,, DO IT!!

IMO, for a stock DD ,unless you have money to burn, the is WAY overkill. Why did you think you needed a level V tranny?

Admittedly it is overkill at this stage, and I could more than likely get along just fine with a stock rebuild, but the price difference between the level 5 and what the shop I trust here wanted for a remanned stock was $200. To have the peace of mind of knowing a shop like rpm built one of their solid setups is worth that to me. I am on call A LOT (interventional cardiology training, lots of getting a call at 4am and having 15 minutes to be through the lab doors). Full disclosure, first time reverse failed on me almost cost time this patient didn’t have. That’s a feeling I’m not wanting to experience again.

This, coupled with the potential of no more than a mildly boosted turbo setup down the line (600-650 street car) really makes me just want to get something that I know has the potential to be beaten on, the issues stock trannies have fixed, and the reliability to know I’m never going to have to explain to someone’s family why Dad almost didn’t make Easter. It’s overkill, but I would rather be bulletproof than even have a shadow of a doubt with regard to reliability.
