I wanted to do it right after I bought my 03 vert but when I found out what is involved I decided to wait until what Chevrolet recommended for it. I'm not having any problems.

i am not sure whats entailed on a C5. I see the dealership did a fluid exchange on mine for a previous owner but the recipets didnt mention a filter change.
