I just did the PCV Mod. It was real easy and took 20 minutes.
parts needed: 2 1/2 feet 3/8 air line. 2 clamps. 2, 3/8 barbed fittings. 1 filter from McMaster Carr catalogue. I like this filter because it has a screw tight drip hole and can be opened and closed without removing the bowl.
I used a copper tubing cutter and a sharp blade. I cut the pcv plastic pipe just past where it bends so that I could turn it up for clearance. Just slide the hose over the pipe on the other end. Put on tie downs and your done. http://www.shutterfly.com/osi.jsp?i=...21b308c82425a0
Looks Great...One question?? Does the pcv valve go before the filter or after the filter?? Or does it matter?? Looks like you have yours after the filter..Most of the pics I have seen have the pcv valve before the filter??
I was told at work that the filter is from Grainger. Unless you have a commercial account you can't buy from them. If you have access, the filter is a Speedair # 2z766 pg 2945 of their catalogue. You can also get the same type from Lowes and Home Depot.
