Default Window problems

99 manual c5
I have done research but haven’t come up with a thread that had my symptoms. Both windows don’t go up or down yet both power locks and windows work. I don’t hear any clicking when I push the window button. I am just coming off resolving a “service Colum lock and pull key” issue (thank you LMC5). After the install, the car worked fine for a few weeks. Washed the car then noticed the windows didn’t work. I recently cleaned all the grounds on the car when chasing the previouly mentioned “service colum lock issue”. I haven’t had a chance to pull the doors apart and test the voltage, but I’m curious if anyone has seen this before?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you wash or spray the engine, get it wet when you washed the car?

I did not. I don’t really think it had to do with washing the car, I lthink it was just coincidental.

Check the connection in the accordion tube that goes from the doors to the body. Make sure you have good connection there. That is where I would start.

It is common for windows to stick even if the regulator motors are good... Sometimes if you bump the door panel where the motor is located while holding down the power window button, the window will unstick itself... Since there is no limit switch on the motors, and they just run up against the stops until the motor stalls out, I think the motor and gear box mechanism just locks up as they age.
