Default o2 sensor code came while driving then went away

I think it said bank 2 sensor 1 or something like that in description of code.

I used torque while I was driving. I sensed some kind of hesitation and power loss... and i turned on torque and it gave me a red code which said o2 sensor... but now it dissapeared... cant view history of it...

I never replaced the sensors since i bought the car not sure if previous owner did.

I did seafoam the car a while ago and it improved idle, i remember reading this can affect o2 sensors but...

I read also that there is a 'revised' version with holes on sensor which is available from ac delco... i would get them just not sure how hard it is to replace them...

I do intend to go to headers maybe the china ones maybe texas speed... so down the line i want the secondaries off anyway...

Check your coolant level as well. Coolant kills o2's, and if you've got a bed head gasket, or the like, it may be an early indicator.

If he had a bad head gasket, wouldn't he have high coolant temperatures?

You really need to get a scan tool and see what DTC's you have. Can be an O2 sensor or wiring...also looking at live data on the scan tool can tell you what's going on with the sensor. It could be pegged "rich" (over 450 Mv) which would drive your fuel trims negative (taking fuel away) and there is your loss of power. If you don't have a scan tool or an understanding of engine diagnostics you'll just be firing the "parts cannon"...OR take it to shop that understands all this stuff...a lot don't unfortunately...they will probably tell you that you need plugs, wires, and O2 sensors !!

Wow !!
Really no misfires are acceptable...are the misfires cylinder specific or are there no misfires reported on your scan tool ??..if not its time to check if it’s fuel ,ignition, or compression...you can do a cylinder drop test by removing each plug wire one at a time and see if you notice a change in RPM...if all cylinders are good then we can start looking at your fuel injectors... use a long screwdriver and put the screwdriver on each injector and put your ear to it and see if you can hear the injector click...if not then you have to check for power at the injector..one wire is power and the other is the signal wire to the PCM...it’s ground side switched so if you hook an INCANDESCENT test light or a computer safe test light to battery positive and touch the signal wire (back probing it with a T pin) and touch the wire the light should light !!...the other wire is power and you should have 12 volts there too...the pink wires are the power wires and the others are the signal...you do this test with the key on...try that for starters...and if it’s looks like an O2 sensor let me know and I’ll let you know how to check those...compression, we will save that for last !!

No codes... but in one of the live things i recall seeing 'acceptable' being like 50 and actuals in red 2000... something like that

To be honest Im not too sure how to log or run this thing properly.. if i could while i drive to and from work i could post something up as a log and get better feedback... if you could instruct me what options to do and what to try in the app.

Hello my friend !!
I'm not sure what kind of Bluetooth scan tool you are using but looking at fuel trims and your O2 sensors (see the screenshots from my own C5) would be helpful to maybe troubleshoot this problem...not sure if your scan tool will display misfire counts on a specific cylinder...is the misfire at idle or only under load ??...you can try the steps I had previously sent but if the car is your daily driver I would probably just take it to a reputable shop...I myself would hook up my Vantage Pro scope and check your ignition and fuel injectors under load...many shops do not have scopes or are unsure of how to use them even if they have one !!

Hi, I looked at that Torque App and it looks like you can't view live data on it...I'm not 100% sure...you can pick up a decent scan tool for 100-120.00 these days...like I said you can try the things I mentioned, take it to a shop, or get a Scan Tool and see what happens.Actron makes pretty decent scan tools and they aren't that expensive...these are screenshots from my old one !!
