2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (performance mods)
C5 of Year Winner (performance mods) 2019
are you more concerned about corners or the car driving straight?... on my car I set front camber at -.5, caster 6.8-7, toe zeroed out or -.01 at most... on the rear I set camber as positive as possible which is still usually at least -.4, and I zero out the toe... I am concerned with max traction to the rear tires, driving straight at high speeds, minimal tire wear, and for me this works great... if you want to throw it through some hard corners then the specs above will work better for that...
on a side note the rear camber adjustment really gets on my nerves, I wish they made the c5 rear upper control arms the same way the fronts are (or the rear of the c6z/zr1) that way you could just use some washers behind the bolts to get more positive camber... eccentric bushings would also work but I'm not sure if anyone even makes anything like that
Roads are in straight, squares here. Very little opportunity to take a corner, which is probably why I'm timid about them. Lack of practice. So yes, my concerns are the same as yours. Traction, tire wear, and predictable handling. Currently it actually feels quite good. I do plan to put on drop spindles soon though and think I should probably have an alignment done after that.
