I was driving yesterday and the coolant temperature gauge went into the red instantly.
I purchased a new temperature sensor and just plugged it in and the gauge still jumped into the red right away after the self check.
I'm trying to find out if the computer is holding the code in memory.
On a side note, I got caught in a huge rain storm, and hit a huge puddle yesterday. I'm now questioning if the computer perhaps got wet.
