in my opinion the only way to get rid of the shifting issues is to install a quality aftermarket clutch, it sucks that you had to go through all that trouble for nothing

the more power you add the worse it gets... how much power does it make now and what are your plans for the future?... the stock clutch can technically hold a decent amount of power but that's not the problem as you now know, the real problem is preventing you from being able to shift at high rpm... in my opinion the root cause of it is the self adjusting pressure plate

where up around 500 on the engine. I know that's not to much HP but its good for me. what would be a decent setup to put in it? We kicked the rev limiter up to 6700 from the stock 5700

500 to the ground?... that isn't bad at all really, you might look into a mcleod rst or something like that just in case you decide to add more power later on... just stay away from factory replacements

with the mcleod you can get it without the flywheel for a pretty reasonable price and reuse your stock flywheel or if you don't mind spending a little more the billet steel flywheel is pretty nice and will save some weight

This issue is caused by the clutch slipping and imparting too much heat into the pressure plate, which causes the diaphragm spring to become heat fatigued, and can not push back against the hydraulics.

The issue is an under performing clutch.
