A/C Blend Door Replacement
2001 Vert: need to replace A/C blend doors. A/C controls are dual automatic. Blend doors can be manual or electronic. What determines what I need?

not sure I understand the question but do you mean blend door actuators? If you have the dual zone AC the actuators are electric

I've got a pair of the electric actuators for $50 shipped if you end up needing them.

First, how do you know you need to replace the actuators? What are your symptoms?

have you tried the reset procedure....the 01 and up have a way to reset the actuators by pressing a series of buttons...I don't recall which but you can probably Google it and give it a shot

Here is the procedure I did for mine and it worked.
Re-Calibrating Actuators
Use the following steps to perform the calibration update:
1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Remove the battery positive voltage circuit fuse of the HVAC Control Module (fuse #27 in the passenger fuse box).
Important
The module memory will not clear if the battery positive voltage circuit fuse is installed in less than 60 seconds.
3. Wait 60 seconds.
4. Install the fuse.
After reinserting the fuse, start the car. It will take about a minute or so for the system to re-calibrate.
DO NOT CHANGE ANY SETTINGS WHILE IT'S CALIBRATING!
Check that no codes have been set.
