I used my stock c5z rear lower arms with a c6 cradle when I did my tr6060 swap so I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around... the springs do mount differently so you would need the c6 spring as well or if you have coilovers then it won't matter... however I'm not sure if it will throw the suspension geometry off requiring an alignment

yeah, after doing some research it seems the arms will work. my plan was to buy just the cradle and swap all the c6 suspension components to the c5 cradle. from what I've read, it will more than likely move my knuckles foward about 5/8ths. but I'm still unsure.

So you want a C5 cradle in your C6? Am I reading that right?

sounds like he wants C6 suspension on his C5 but wants to keep the C5 cradle for the T56 mounting.

c5 cradle is not going to work in a c6 unless you swap out more parts, the differential doesn't mount the same way... what are you trying to accomplish?

well I have the c5z diff and the bracket I made to mount to the c6 cradle, there's just excessive vibration that I can't get rid of, so I was wondering if I swap to the c5 cradle, can I use the other c6 suspension components. as I'm sure that's a full proof way to get rid of the vibration issues, if it's possible.

what year is your car and is it an auto or manual?... you might be taking a step backwards by swapping c5 stuff into the car, usually people do it the other way around... but yeah, everything should swap over to that cradle... when I put the c6z drivetrain into my car I used the c6 cradle, offset mounts, and reused all of the suspension parts

it's an 05, the only reason I'm thinking about doing this is because the 05 diff housing cracked. and I know the c5z diff bolts right up. and its a t56 car

It would bolt in and the suspension would mount but I can see the spring working. The C5 spring is under the front a-arm bushing while the C6 spring is behind the front a-arm bushing. So, the spring would be too far ahead and not hit the correct spot on the a-arms.

If you use C5 control arms so the C5 spring can be used then the wheels will be too far forwards in the wheel wells.

I can't tell you if the transmission mount would line up or not. I'm comparing a 08 cradle to the C5. I could get you a picture of the C5 suspension in a C6 if you want to see it. I wouldn't accept it. The wheels are way out and it looks badly wrong.
