Need a little more info about your car, as there were two different sensors used on the C-5, based on the model year. Also, are they the original sensors to your car, as they don't last forever. Have you tried to do the relearn?

If you have a 2001+ Corvette, you can eliminate the tpms entirely, if you are comfortable without them, by using a Tech2 or other bidirectional scanners.

it’s a1999 coup. The sencers are original as fare as I know. The comp. readout looks to be accurate. How do a relearn?

George, welcome to the Corvette Forum. I believe soon you will find it to be one of the most useful tools in your tool box.

As others have mentioned, it would be helpful to have a bit more information.

Are you using 'run-flat' or ZP (zero pressure) tires? If you are, you will want this system functioning, otherwise it will be very difficult to tell (without constantly checking the pressures) when one of them looses air. This is not good for the tire or your wallet.

Is your DIC displaying the tire pressures when you select GAGES and scroll to the tire setting? If any of them is not displaying tire pressure when driving the car, this is a good place to start. It's a sure indication one or more of the sensor batteries has reached the end of their useful life. Time for a new sensor(s). You can change one or more at any time individually or all together. The best time is when installing a new set of tires especially if the sensors are known to be 10 years old or older.

If none of them is reading pressures, that's another matter and will require additional trouble shooting. Pulling your cars codes is a good first step.

If you have never pulled codes on your C5 here is how:

(thanks Forum member 8VETTE7... )

Here are a few good threads on your TPMS system and some troubleshooting tips...Sensors for you car can be purchased for less than half what they cost a few years back and if more than one is not reporting it may be time to just replace all of them. (https://www.carid.com/2000-chevy-corvette-tpms-sensors/)

Even cheaper... https://tpms247.com/collections/1999-chevrolet-corvette

Good luck... GUSTO
