Rear Wheel Rub 2004 C5 Base
I decided to change the size of my rears due to drag season. I now have 305 45 18s.
The R. Rear is rubbing on the plastic with bumps are acceleration. The L. Rear is fine. I have to keep it in Sport Mode to avoid annoying the crap out of me listening constantly to rubbing.
Yes, I know I cut it close with 305s. One thing I did not count on is the wheel space not equal from spindle to each horizontal side as you see in the pix.
Am I looking at a shock issue?
Can I epoxy the plastic well to the gas tank in the front part of the wheel well?
No I am not reducing the size.
