Rob, thanks for the helpful guidance. Just performed the routine you suggested....cleared any codes that displayed, all were H category. Just drove
the car few miles, locally and highway. Went tru the code check routine and NONE there. Wondering is when I had brake fluid flush done at the
dealer(about 2+ years ago) anything to do with some of these H codes. Anyway, all is fine!!!! Thanks again for your generous offer of time. Bob

Bob, you’ve probably had those codes stored in history for years based on the fact the car is driven very little !!...some don’t clear for 50 ignition cycles and others for 100...if the TC/AH lights come on again just go through the DIC code retrieval and let us know !!

Not sure if I missed this suggestion in this thread but....First things First! Get a new battery that at full charge is is over 13 volts, 14 volts would be even better!! I use a computer controlled battery charger that gets close to 14 volts, got rid of my electrical problems. Also charge my battery once month to top it off! The electronics in these cars are cheap! And they are very sensitive to low voltage. I would ignore the door module errors, I get those all the time.

Good points about sensitivity and quality of the electronics. When car was less than year old suddenly crazy things starting happening. Parked car, amazingly rear hatch release started cycling, headlights popped up and down, car wouldn't start. Flat bedded to dealer...defective battery. That replacement lasted many years since kept on trickle charger. Replaced that battery approx two years ago, still keep on trickle charger when not in use. Soon as car in the garage it goes back on the trickle charger(Battery Charger-Plus).

I have ruined many abattery with trickle chargers. what is the voltage on the terminals after you charge it? it it over 13 volts? after you drive it a couple days what is the voltage on the terminals?
you understand how smart battery chargers work? they charge and condition the battery, big difference from a trickle charger! google it!

Red Coupe - since you were intermittently getting the 'SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL" AND "SERVICE ACTIVE HANDLING' message, did you have a C1214 code set?

No, did not. As explained earlier to C5 Diag(Rob), as directed I cleared all my codes(C1214) was not one of them. Drove the car and rechecked the system....no codes!

OK, just asking because C1214 is a common fault when you get those messages but is repairable.

Worthwhile info, thank you. Will be watching more closely now that I've been educated how to check.
