My husband has a 2000 automatic Corvette with a pro charger. He was driving around 60 mph then hit the gas pretty hard. Not floored. It just revved up and there is no gears at all. Seems like it’s in neutral. There was no sounds like something breaking. But will go in park. The reverse lights come on when in reverse. He did check the linkage and it was working when I shifted it. He looked in the inspection plate on torq tube and it’s spinning. We haven’t checked anything else yet. We just started looking at it. Any idea what it could be? What would you check first? Thanks.
If you can get a pressure gauge on it and check for pressures that would be one thing to check. In my opinion it sounds like it will be coming out and be getting a rebuild. So there are no fw or rev gears or movement?

while in the air do the tires move at all and can you feel the trans shifting from park to reverse, neutral, etc?... are there any strange noises?... I'm wondering if the trans output shaft broke... it's unlikely that both axles or stub shafts broke at the same time
I was shifting it while it was running and you can’t feel anything. There’s no feeling like it’s trying to go into gear. There’s zero movement in the wheels in any gear. No strange noises. Also there was no noise when it stopped working.
