ghost in wipers

ghost in wipers
Hello all my 02 C5 convertible has a ghost in the wipers. They act funny don't work most of the times just setting down in the intermitted area and burp up a bit now and then Yesterday they came on by them selves and wiped twice and got stuck up? What the heck is the fix

It's not likely a ghost but is likely water.....................
When was the last time that you cleaned the udders????

If the answer is "never" then there is an excellent chance the udders are plugged up and the wiper motor (in the drivers side wiper well) is either now sitting in water or has sat in water in the past and the electrical components of the motor and its circuit board are corroded.
