Default 1999 C5 Help please

I have a 1999 C5 that it starts and shuts down with in seconds it sometimes tell me service steering lock other times it tell me wait 10 seconds and restart car but it wont stay on what do you think is the problem please help

These cars are really sensitive to batteries that are marginal. You may need a new battery. Take it to a car parts store and have it checked. Make sure all battery connections are good.

I have an optima red top battery, Make sure to get an AGM battery if at all possible as they are sealed. You have sensitive parts under the battery so you don't want any leakage.

When you install LMC5, make sure your battery is fully charged and do the brown wire mod on page 2. Not required but better to anticipate rather than having to go back and having to do it later.
