Default Corsa Extreme

New to the C5 group, familiar with the C3 and C4 models so I figured I would try out a C5. Best decision made in a while.
looking at the Corsa Extreme exhaust on the Summit site. It states this system requires the X pipe. Due to financial reasons I plan to get the X pipe later but for now won't the system bolt to the stock exhaust at the axle where you have to remove the factory exhaust? I feel sure it will but need confirmation before I order. I do plan on the Xpipe later.

Found instructions online, and I said X pipe instead of H pipe.

you don't need the xpipe, the system will bolt up to the factory midpipe... if you plan to do headers I would skip the xpipe anyway since most header systems have an xpipe already included

I have the corsa xtreme. Definitely do not need to buy their x pipe. I bought mine before doing headers and had mine hooked up to the stock mid section. Like the other guy said. You'll be wasting your money if you plan to do headers in the future.

If you order the exhaust from Summit they will price match any advertised price, so look around first. I was able to save $150 off their listed price on Corsa Extremes.
