Passenger side window decided to stop working. Replaced both door power and window fuses. Could hear a "click" inside door when window button pushed but nothing moved. Did a little minor "pounding" on door to no avail. What is my next step or what step(s) did I miss? Gotta get it fixed or no trips to the track.
All advice appreciated. George
I also found that bumping the glass down a fraction of an inch, keeps the drive mechanism from sticking in the up position..
There is no limit, switch so the motor drives the window up against the stops until it stalls....Since it has a gear drive on the motor,, the gears tend to get in a bind and will not reverse.
I hit the down an up buttons as fast as possible, and you can hear he motor move, but the glass drops only about 1/8"
THANK YOU !!! THANK YOU ...... TEXHAWK0 AND rrwirsi...... I tried the fast up and down as TEXHAWK0 suggested and it WORKS ! Yea ! Also thanks for the explanation as to how the windows work without a limit switch.
