New Keyfob and Key
So I recently purchased a 2000 Corvette Convertible with 45K miles on it. Only had 1 ignition key and an aftermarket keyfob.
So I ordered a new key and fob from the dealer ($168 for the pair). I see instructions on how to program the keyfob. But not the key.
Can this only be performed by the dealer? I assume it should only take a few minutes...but the service department said to set aside 2 hours !!
Seemed ridiculous to me...HELP!
