2004 Fuel Pressure Regulator
A friend’s 2004 C5 with 120k Miles is getting a CEL and a code which indicates a bad fuel pressure regulator.
What is the procedure and average cost to replace?
Any easy remedies to try first like Techron?
Thanks for the assistance.

Code P0446 indicates a fault in the Evaporative Emission System Vent Control electrical circuit for a predetermined period of time.
Thanks

Thanks for your assistance. I am in the middle with my friend, so I am just relaying the info that he provides.
Would appreciate the diagnostic tree from the Shop Manual.
Thanks for the help.

Being that this is an electrical issue do you have or are you good with a multimeter ??...if not best to bring it to a shop...save yourself money in the long run not shotgunning parts !!...would have to look at the diagnostics for this but you MIGHT need a smoke machine for this DTC !!

GREAT !!...I HATE those flowcharts !!...if you have some knowledge on how the system operates you really don’t have to use one...GOOD LUCK...keep us advised ??

Update to the Update.
After the Vapor Relief Valve was replaced, the Check Engine Light continued to be illuminated.
The dealer then replaced the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor and the Jumper Harness.
That solve the CEL.
