ABSOFRIGGENLOOTLEY!! The sensor signals are significantly different between the two. The plug connectors are also different between the two sensors. \
The sensor location on the LS2 block is also different and the unique sensor is calibrated to properly sense KNOCK from that area and feed the correct signal to the PCM/ECU
You will need LS1 knock sensors as Bill mentioned. I had to relocated mine to the side of my L92/LS3 block and use an extension harness to get them to reach the rear pigtail where the knock sensors originally plugged in.
If you are not tuning the car I would discuss this with your tuner. The sensitivity has to be adjusted when you relocate the LS1 knock sensor for the LS2 block. Many tuners get it running but just turn down the sensitivity.
It seems, you can run the LS2 style if you repin and reprogram the ECU.
