Default Valve Springs on 2002 Base

I have been researching this topic for a bit and understand that the ZO6's have the valve spring problems. But I can't seem to find if the base LS1's have any issues as well?

My car has 75k miles with normal wear, and I don't track the car. I am curious if I need to address the issue. Thanks!

I've never heard of issues with LS-1 valve springs...

Your OEM springs are fine, Unless your cam has been changed.. Original Cam = no issues

I am going to differ. The LS1 springs to my knowledge have never broke, even with a lot of miles. However, Bauer Racing did some testing a number of years back and found that they would float the valves at high RPM when they go to higher miles (don't remember the exact value but you are within the range). If you have the motor open, I would personally refresh them and the valve seals possibly with the LS6 springs.

IF you have another reason to go into the motor otherwise at 75k I'd leave it alone assuming the car does not see track time.
